Our Story
Tax strategy built on real-world experience
Baldridge Ledbetter is a Houston-based CPA firm serving business owners and real estate investors nationwide. We specialize in tax strategy, tax preparation, and accounting support.
We started this firm because we saw too many business owners getting reactive advice from their accountants. Their returns got filed, but no one was looking for opportunities. No one was thinking ahead. And no one was helping them connect the dots between their business decisions and their tax outcomes.
We do things differently. We take a holistic approach that spans accounting, tax strategy, entity structure, and even how your legal agreements affect your taxes. We're not just filing returns. We're partnering with you to help you keep more of what you make.

Mitchell Baldridge, CPA, CFP®
Founder & Partner
Mitchell Baldridge is a CPA and Certified Financial Planner™, and the founder of Baldridge Financial (the OG name). He started the firm in 2014 with a straightforward premise: most business owners have an expensive, reactive tax and financial planning team - and they deserve better. Mitchell integrates tax planning, compliance, and financial planning under one roof, working primarily with small and midsize business owners who have real complexity in their finances. He's also a founder of RE Cost Seg, a cost segregation firm that has completed over 6,000 studies since 2022. Mitchell is active on X (@baldridgecpa), where he writes about tax strategy and personal finance for business owners and real estate investors.
Roger Ledbetter, CPA
Managing Partner
Roger Ledbetter is a CPA and partner at Baldridge Ledbetter, where he focuses on tax planning and compliance for real estate investors, small business owners, and pass-through entities. His work centers on the areas most CPAs avoid: partnership allocations, complex entity structures, and the details that actually move the needle on a client's tax bill. Before joining Baldridge Ledbetter, Roger worked at Baker Tilly and MiddletonRaines+Zapata, building a foundation in tax and accounting that spans industries and entity types. He's also one of the more widely-read voices in tax on social media (@rledbetterCPA on X) and writes a newsletter focused on practical, no-fluff tax strategy for business owners.
